IN THE BEGINNING
Travel Warriors was created because we identified a noticeable gap in the travel management market that was slowly becoming saturated with the rise of ‘mega-TMCs’ (Travel Management Companies). Many travel companies were too ‘generic’ and ‘corporate’, and didn’t proactively custom-design travel services to 100% fit the needs and expectations of certain unique industries. We realized that the travel service we wanted to offer wouldn’t be possible whilst working within the constraints of a TMC, so we knew the only option was to develop a travel agency from the ground up that would deliver the customization, technology, and high level of service that we were passionate to provide.

We are a Registered Seller of Travel with the California Seller of Travel Program (CST). The California Seller of Travel law protects consumers by requiring registration of sellers of travel, requiring them to issue clear disclosures, imposing financial restrictions on certain sellers of travel, creating a restitution fund to protect consumers from losses under specific circumstances, and providing oversight and enforcement by the Office of the Attorney General. We are also registered participants in the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund which provides for the benefit of consumers located in California who suffer losses as a result of the bankruptcy, cessation of operations, insolvency, or material failure of a seller of travel to provide the for transportation or travel services contracted. Our partnership with ALTOUR allows Travel Warriors access to the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) – the premier driver of air travel intelligence and commerce with leading business solutions, travel agency accreditation services, process and financial management tools, and high-quality data. ARC allows Travel Warriors to consolidate the management of our relationships with global air travel suppliers and gives us the ability to easily ticket flights worldwide on more than 200 airlines directly through our global distribution system (GDS), as well as book hotels, car rentals, and more. Michelle Browne
Owner & CEO
Michelle started her travel industry career with Delta Airlines in 1996 in their Los Angeles based reservation center. From there she moved up the ranks and worked for a ‘Mom & Pop’ local travel agency for a few years. Her first experience working for a Travel Management Company was with World Travel where she handled travel for an engineering firm and it was here that she became fully exposed to the world of corporate travel. Hungry for more exciting and challenging responsibilities, she decided it was time to move on and took up a position with Disney Travel Services. Unfortunately the tragic events of 9/11 severely affected the travel industry and she was laid off due to the economic downtown and uncertainty. However not far long after she was hired by Paramount Pictures to handle their VIP desk. After a couple of years she decided to join the Sony travel family handling various travel functions including their VIP desk, publicity and private/chartered jets. Her most recent position was with ALTOUR as Head of Publicity Travel for Entertainment in which she supervised publicity travel movements for clients such as Lionsgate, MGM, EPIX, and Pantelion Films. In 2019, Michelle became Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Travel Warriors. In August 2021 Michelle assumed full and sole ownership of Travel Warriors.
